We are always keen to hear from talented and highly motivated individuals who consider they can contribute to the continued success of NLP. In return we offer a mentoring and appraisal system designed to ensure your professional needs are met alongside an attractive salary and benefits package reflecting the quality of your experience, your technical skills and what you can add to our growing business.

RTPI Learning Partner

We have achieved RTPI Learning Partner accreditation in recognition of our commitment to training and development. Our graduate programme will ensure that you develop managerial skills alongside professional knowledge and supports you in preparing for your APC.

Graduate Planning Consultants

We are seeking high calibre graduates with an RTPI accredited Town Planning qualification (at least 2.1 at degree level). RICS (P&D) would be acceptable.

We will also consider exceptional candidates with related degrees (preferably Geography, Economics or similar) with a keen interest in planning who wish to study part time for an RTPI accredited qualification while working. Such opportunities may be limited in some of our offices.

Our graduate recruitment programme for 2008 will commence around January/ February 2008. Should you wish to apply in advance please email your CV and covering letter to Kay Fairgrieve, stating the locations for which you are applying. There is also a possible graduate opportunity in London for someone able to start immediately; please email your application to Kay for that vacancy.

Please note that we do not accept candidates for graduate positions from recruitment consultants.

Work Placements

NLP is unable to offer a regular programme of work placement opportunities, whether paid or unpaid. Any opportunities for placements will arise from the needs of a particular office or work group and will be dependent on our anticipated work programme.

Speculative applications are welcomed as it is not always easy to predict at an early stage what our requirements might be throughout the year. If there are no vacancies when you contact us, we will keep your details on file and contact you if an opportunity arises at a later stage.

Please email your CV and covering letter, outlining your availability and preferred location, to Kay Fairgrieve at kfairgrieve@nlpplanning.com

Please note that applications for work placements will not be accepted from recruitment consultants.
