NLP has now secured its fifth theme park hotel planning permission, on behalf of the Merlin Entertainments Group (‘Merlin’), for a 150 bed hotel at the LEGOLAND Park in Windsor.
Over recent years NLP has worked with Merlin to secure planning permissions for hotels at the Alton Towers Resort, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park.
The hotel will be located within a Major Developed Site in the Green Belt and will play a key role in the long-term positioning of the Park as a short break family destination and its continuing success.
Nick Thompson, Director at NLP commented…"the outcome is the result of the strong planning case and extensive public consultation. Many elements of the design directly respond to comments made by local residents. We are delighted to have now helped secure five planning permissions for hotels at Merlin's UK theme parks".
