 Temporary Planning Consent Public Inquiry

NLP helped secure a temporary planning consent for the annual opera festival at Garsington Manor in Oxfordshire. The application was determined at a public inquiry at which NLP put forward the planning case. The festival is highly regarded as a “nursery” for opera performers, musicians and designers. Along with Glynnbourne and Grange Park, it is one of a small group of annual opera festivals.
Garsington Manor is a Grade II* listed building with a registered historic garden set within the Garsington Conservation Area.
NLP continues to advise on planning matters with regard to the operation of the opera festival and the Manor. Temporary planning permission for the continuation of the festival up to 2017 has recently been obtained.
